Foraging Nature Walks

Upcoming Foraging Nature Walks

Celebrate the seasons whilst walking through the glorious Kent countryside. On our Foraging Nature Walks, we will take the time to really connect with nature and the landscape; a wonderful way to ease the mind and refresh the soul - and meet new people!

Each walk will focus on a seasonal plant; how to safely identify them, all about their medicinal benefits...and a bit of folklore along the way. Foraging reconnects us to the land, seasons, and ancient practices that kept communities well for generations. It’s a way to slow down, learn deeply, and nourish body and soul.

Wild Art
Nature Walks

January & February 2026

As winter descends and drapes a sleepy blanket over the countryside, it can be tempting to withdraw and hibernate indoors. This season of stillness can be a welcome pause in our yearly rhythm — yet it’s also a time when we can drift away from the nourishment, clarity, and quiet joy that nature so generously offers.

If you’re beginning to feel a little stagnated or restless, why not join me for an uplifting winter nature walk? Inspired by Day Schildkret and his beautiful Morning Altars, I’ve created a gentle, soul-soothing walk that weaves together mindfulness, creativity, and the simple magic of being outdoors.

In this 2-hour experience, we’ll wander slowly, gathering small treasures from the land — leaves, feathers, stones, seed pods — forming our own humble trove of natural beauty. Together, we’ll transform these findings into a temporary wild art installation. This practice invites us to learn from the landscape, to honour what it offers, and to rekindle that childlike sense of awe at the quiet intricacy of the seemingly ordinary.

We’ll also pause to enjoy warming herbal tea and light snacks, letting them become a small, nourishing part of our time together.

Five dates available: January 9th and 23rd, February 6th, 13th and 20th from 10am - 12pm in Westerham, Kent.

Full details will be shared once a booking has been made.

Investment £15.

Spring Greens
Foraging Walks

March 2026

As winter loosens its grip and the land begins to stir, early spring offers a precious window of renewal. Tender green shoots emerge, rich in nutrients and vitality, inviting us to reconnect with the natural world after the quieter months.

Join me for a nourishing Spring Greens Foraging Walk in and around the village of Knockholt, Kent, where we’ll take time to slow down, observe closely, and celebrate the abundance of the season. March is one of the most exciting months in the foraging calendar, and wild garlic will be the star of the show, alongside other native plants such as dandelion, wild primrose, cleavers, nettle, and more.

During this immersive walk, you will learn how to:

  • Find and confidently identify edible spring greens

  • Forage safely and responsibly

  • Understand the nutritional and medicinal qualities of seasonal plants

  • Discover folklore, traditional uses, and seasonal wisdom woven into the landscape

After our foraging walk, we’ll gather to enjoy a homemade, seasonal lunch, lovingly prepared and inspired by the very spring greens we’ve been exploring. This shared meal is a chance to rest, reflect, and taste the flavours of early spring in a simple, nourishing way.

Practical details

  • Dates: Friday 20th and Friday 27th March

  • Time: 11:00am – 1:30pm

  • Location: In and around Knockholt village (TN14)

  • Investment: £25

Fitness & accessibility

This walk takes place across natural, uneven terrain with some uphill sections. We’ll move at a relaxed, mindful pace with regular pauses along the way. A general comfort with walking outdoors is recommended, and you’re always welcome to take breaks as needed.

Full joining instructions, including meeting point and what to bring, will be shared once a booking has been made.

Calming plant background

I had the pleasure of Reiki sessions with Clare, a warm and compassionate soul, who clearly has a natural gift for healing. She took time and consideration discussing my areas of concern together with my medical history, which made me feel utterly at ease that she fully understood and that I was genuinely cared for. The setting was welcoming, relaxing, peaceful and comfortable. The feeling in my body during the session was quite remarkable, a warm gentle wave of tingling energy and in particular the area where I was in most discomfort. I hadn’t anticipated the mental and emotional benefit too, my mind feeling still. I left the sessions not only with the pain gone but a general sense of well-being, lighter, stress and tension free. My sleep and anxious state also improved. Clare suggested small, achievable ways on how to improve and nurture my general overall well-being.
